Hazy, Lazy Daze of Summer

Pun intended.

For the last couple of days, one has not been feeling too well dear hearts. Definitely under the weather and the doctor has said that I have developed an infection somewhere in my system whilst having the operation. All I know is that my 'get up and go' has 'got up and gone'.

This could not have happened at a worse time; I have so much to do but I can't do any of it. Debbie came with me into London yesterday to do a voice over job for a trailer for a cartoon. Don't laugh, but I was a butterfly from Middlesbrough...

Being trapped for most of the time, and sleeping at odd hours, it has been interesting to watch the antics in the creek that runs under the house where two swans have set up home. Egyptian Geese, Mallards, and Coots have all tried to move in but the swans keep coming back and clearing them out of their nest.

Last year they built a nest in the same place and stuck all kinds of twigs into the 'building'. Some of them have taken root and I can see I am going to have to remove most of them because they are willow trees, and they will block the waterway and interfere with my neighbour's apple trees.

I hope you are all feeling great.

Aahh they still have butterflies in the Boro :)

Hope you're feeling better soon Paul, being ill is awful, especially when you have things to do. xx
